Religious zealots spur increase in ‘non‑believers’

I am not certain who is more amusing, “Pastor” Huck, or the people writing in to defend his absurd stance. Clearly Terry Alexander had every right to satirize this indefensible argument (on Creation Theory) and the light‑weight who so poorly presented it in this manner.

Arizona has been held up as the dumbest state in the Union. We can easily understand why when many cannot accept science and fact. To those who may have some intellect but choose not to use it, I quote Ralph Waldo Emerson:

“Don’t recite other people’s opinions ... tell me what you know.”

Is it any wonder that 14 percent of the American public professes no belief in a supreme being? Those numbers are growing each year. Thank you Desert Advocate. The columns you run written by Huck and other religious zealots are helping this along.
