Kiwanis flea market rescheduled

CAREFREE – The Kiwanis Club of Carefree monthly Flea Market has been rescheduled to open at 8 a.m. Dec. 15 at the corner of Tom Darlington Drive and Cave Creek Road, adjacent to the Bad Donkey Restaurant.

The warehouse is stocked with items suitable for Christmas gifts.

Among the many items for sale are phone systems, long‑play records and turntable, lighted Christmas items, a parking lot full of furniture, and shelves loaded with small appliances, computers, VCRs and TVs, all in working order.

Technicians will be available to lend assistance.

In addition, there will be jewelry, garden tools, radios, battery‑powered toys and assorted odds and ends.

All proceeds support youth activities in the Desert Foothills area.
